News from the mobile sector
The MWC is the event in the mobile communications business. The motto of the largest exhibition in Europe, which is to be held at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona until 1 March, is “Creating a Better Future”. Following tradition, the large smartphone and tablet manufacturers will showcase the new products they plan to launch in the spring.

This year all eyes are on the South Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung, which presented its new flagship Galaxy S9 at today’s unpacked event. But the competition is not sleeping either. CAT gave a live demonstration of its brand new CAT S61 and Sony will have new products to show too.
Nokia presented its new devices Nokia 1, Nokia 8110, Nokia 6 (new version), Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Innovations and Highlights
In addition to the numerous innovations from the mobile communications sector, we expect to see a wide range of technological highlights again this year. In the NEXTech Hall 8.0 visitors can experience at first hand the very latest technology from areas such as artificial Intelligence (AI), drones, Internet of Things (IoT), robotics and virtual reality (VR) as well as augmented reality (AR).
