First smartphone with artificial intelligence

HUAWEI is conquering the market with the new smartphone Mate10 Pro from the popular Mate series, which is available in retail outlets from the end of November. The Mate10Pro is the first smartphone in the world with a mobile computing platform for artificial intelligence.

Intelligent companion

The major feature of the new HUAWEI Mate10 Pro is its mobile computing platform, the first in the world for artificial intelligence. It includes the Kirin 970 SoC (system on a chip), HUAWEI’s first mobile computing platform for artificial intelligence. The HUAWEI Mate10 Pro has AI-based applications such as machine learning or scene and object recognition when taking pictures with the camera, offering consumers an intelligent mobile experience.

The HUAWEI Mate10 Pro is one of the first devices to offer the Android™ function zero-touch enrollment. Using zero-touch enrollment, IT administrators are able to set up company devices for users via the Cloud, without manual intervention.

Iconic Design

A further highlight: The HUAWEI Mate10 Pro has an 18:9 FullView Display with OLED technology, a 15.24 cm (6 inch) screen with a barely-there bezel, and supports HDR10 for expecially vibrant colours. The elegant design is completed with the 3D casing, symetrically rounded at all four sides – with a glass casing at the rear. A signature stripe at the rear of the device, highlights the Leica dual camera and the fingerprint sensor even more. The smartphone is also IT67 certified, in other words protected against water and dust, and weighing in at just 178 grams it is a lightweight in its class.

At a glance

With the HUAWEI Mate10Pro, HUAWEI has once again chosen to work together with the photography pioneer Leica. The dual camera boasts what is currently the largest aperture offered by a smartphone (f/1.6), as well as 12 MP RGB and a 20 MP monochrome sensor, an optical image stabiliser (OIS) as well as AI supported Bokeh functions and hybrid zoom. A 4,000 mAh battery gives the HUAWEI Mate10 Pro enough power to see you easily through the day. In addition, the smartphone is equipped with the quick charge technology HUAWEI SuperCharge, certified for its safety by TÜV Rheinland. The device can charge up to 58 percent in just 30 minutes.

The HUAWEI Mate10 Pro comes with the latest version of EMUI 8.0 developed for Android™ 8.0. A clever detail: The screen is split with a special smart split screen function,  meaning that two applications can be used at once. A further highlight is that an external screen can be connected – not only to display the smart phone screen, but also to convert it into a desktop computer.
